FBTF Announces 2026 Teacher Digital Training Project in Partnership with GSR Training Consulting

Empowering educators with practical digital skills for modern teaching and learning

Future Bridge Tech Foundation (FBTF), in partnership with GSR Training Consulting, is pleased to announce the 2026 Teacher Digital Training (TDT) Project, an educational capacity-building initiative under FBTF's Education and Skill Development Programme Area.

The TDT Project is designed to strengthen the digital competencies of teachers and promote the effective integration of technology into teaching and learning. Through practical training, hands-on activities and collaborative learning experiences, the project seeks to equip educators with relevant digital skills required for effective instruction in today's increasingly digital educational environment.

The initiative reflects FBTF's commitment to ensuring that teachers are not left behind in the digital transformation of education and are equipped with the knowledge, confidence and practical tools required to support learners effectively.

Strategic Partnership with GSR Training Consulting

The 2026 Teacher Digital Training Project is being implemented by Future Bridge Tech Foundation (FBTF) in partnership with GSR Training Consulting.

This collaboration builds on the strategic partnership between the two organizations and reflects their shared commitment to strengthening education, digital skills, leadership and professional capacity development.

Through this partnership, FBTF and GSR Training Consulting will combine expertise, resources and professional networks to support the effective delivery of practical and high-quality training for educators.

2026 Teacher Digital Training Programme

As part of the first phase of implementation, FBTF and GSR Training Consulting will organize a two-day Teacher Digital Training Programme from Thursday, 29th October 2026 to Friday, 30th October 2026 at the Accra Leadership Center.

Participating Municipalities

The first phase of the project will bring together thirty (30) selected teachers from three municipalities:

Ga East Municipality
Abokobi
La Nkwantanang-Madina Municipality
Madina
Adentan Municipality
Adenta

Training Focus Areas

Participants will receive practical and hands-on training covering key areas of digital education and classroom technology, including:

  • Digital literacy and productivity tools
  • Digital lesson planning
  • E-learning platforms and digital resources
  • Online assessment tools
  • Classroom technology integration
  • Responsible and safe use of digital technologies
  • Collaborative and innovative teaching approaches

Strengthening Digital Education

The Teacher Digital Training Project forms part of FBTF's broader commitment to improving educational outcomes through technology, innovation, teacher empowerment and lifelong learning.

By equipping teachers with practical digital competencies, the project seeks to support educators in adopting technology more effectively in their classrooms, improving learner engagement and strengthening digital literacy among students.

The project also provides an opportunity for teachers to exchange experiences, learn collaboratively and explore innovative approaches to teaching and learning in a rapidly changing technological environment.

Project Preparation and Stakeholder Engagement

To ensure effective implementation, Future Bridge Tech Foundation has commenced stakeholder engagement, institutional coordination and operational planning activities for the project.

These preparations are intended to ensure that the training is well coordinated and provides participating teachers with a practical, relevant and meaningful learning experience.
